Paging Device Limitations

I want to revisit the 25 phone paging device limitation. Is there any creative workaround to extend this limit?

The issue with network traffic is, to me, nonsense on an enterprise-level gigabit network, particularly in a health care facility where a medical code incident must be broadcast to various offices that will never contain paging speakers.

FWIW our previous Cisco UCS system implemented Informacast which could page 250+ phones and our network somehow survived the onslaught every time I tested it. ;-)

Up to 8 attachments (including images) can be used with a maximum of 1.0 MiB each and 10.0 MiB total.

Just use multicast and ignore using the RC cloud paging.

If you need cloud paging because you need to page via the app, just register your paging adapter or a speaker, and multicast the rest that way too.

Interesting, could you share one more level of detail on how that's done?

We have a paging adapter as one of the 25, it sends audio to the PA.
