Which tutorial are you following?

I guess you are not talking about programming.

The RingCentral desktop app allows you to execute a command upon receiving a call. If your OS is macOS, you can enter the command as "open http://google.com". Then it will open google in browser.

But this is not a programming question. You should contact customer support or post your question in https://community.ringcentral.com/

It's a desktop app, where can I choose the language? after you create the new app the tutorials are kind of vague. thanks for your help.

Could you please post more info about your app? What programming language is it in? Is it a desktop app or web app?
