I am developing an app using ringcentral-web-phone WebRTC SDK and I want to set my Caller ID to be Blocked/No Number.

Per http://ringcentral-faq.readthedocs.io/en/latest/voice_webrtc/ I can specify a value for 'fromNumber' and that will set my Caller ID. I am able to specify my company number or my direct number as my Caller ID successfully.

How can I set my Caller ID as Blocked/No Number?

To Block a caller

  1. A Super Admin must log in to RingCentral
  2. Click Phone System
  3. Click Groups
  4. Click Call Queues
  5. Click Your Company Name
  6. Click Call Handling & Members
  7. Click Custom Rules
  8. Select + Add Rule
  9. in the box type the name of your rule. I suggest “Blocked Callers”
  10. Click Next
  11. Check Caller ID box
  12. Enter a number to be blocked
  13. Click Add
  14. Repeat 12-14 if needed.
  15. Check Called Number box
  16. Click Select Number
  17. Select Your Number
  18. Click Done
  19. Click Next
  20. Select Play Announcement Only
  21. Listen to Default Greeting. Should say: “No one is available to take your call. Thank you for calling. Goodbye!”
  22. Click Done

I've tried setting blocked callerid but it never seems to take from RingOut in the API, but will work from the softphone and web calling.  Isn't there anyway from the API?

This would be something you would have to configure in the Online Account Portal.
