How do I create an url alias via DNS?

Would like to create a url alias of phones.company.com and set its target host FQDN to glip.com

Would like to create url alias of phones.company.com and set its target host FQDN to service.ringcentral.com .

Every attempt to do so fails with 402 or no page renders.
