Do I require https (SSL) to run RingCentral Web Widget?

I am using RingCentral Web Widget https://ringcentral.github.io/ringcentral-widget-demo/ on my website and which not SSL enabled, throwing me below error while making a call

Hi, Scott. It's caused by Secure Policy in chrome browser on http. Our app requires UserMedia permission to play web phone audio. We will think about deploying a http version. And you can also build a widget on our code.
just uploads the files from  github in gh-pages branch to a http web storage.
