is there any API to create accounts

is there any API to create accounts, currently I am only able to Get the accounts usin API but not able to create them.

We have not released these API resources for public consumption yet, but I can switch this question to a "idea" type and if you could provide your use-case information for this API resource, I can share it with our product managers for consideration.
