I have a user with multiple desks and that will be performing different functions at each desk. At one desk he will be included in a few different call queues, at another he will only be included in one.


Is it possible for me to set him up with multiple phones and accomplish this behavior while only having one internal extension for everyone to call?

This kind of setup would be too complicated for a single user. It is much better to create another one and assign the other phone to it.

I was thinking this as well. I've set up a new account for the second desk. How can I get both to ring when this user is called directly?

Edit:

Sorry, when I say "called directly" I mean a non-call queue call.

Thanks, but this forwards all calls (including queue calls). Is there a way to only forward direct calls?

You may create a custom rule. You can enter the direct number under "Called Number". Check on this KB article, https://support.ringcentral.com/article/How-to-access-the-advanced-call-handling-feature.html
