Blog Update: Alexa Tutorial and Self-Service Public Glip Teams

Our team is proud to show off the exciting projects we've been working on using the RingCentral and Glip APIs. Two recent articles and projects include:

Using Alexa as your Personal  RingCentral Messaging Assistant

This tutorial shows how to use the Amazon Alexa voice assistant to check your RingCentral voicemail. The tutorial is written in JavaScript as an AWS Lambda function and includes both a blog article and a GitHub repo below. Try it out and start talking to RingCentral!

Creating Self-Service Public Glip Teams

Our customers often want to create public Glip teams with automatic-registration. This can be done within the app but each user needs to be invited manually. We now have an app, Glipped, which supports a self-registration page where users can sign up and log into public teams automatically. Start automating your Glip public teams with the article and code below!

The Alexa demo is created by Paco and the Glipped app is created by Anil, both frequent contributors to our Community. Please give a shout out to them for creating these!
