You don't need to clone it because it's a library.

You install it into your own project via Gradle or Maven. You can also download the jar file and add it to your project.

You write code with it just like writing code with any other libraries.

Hi Tyler,

I am working on building chatbot using RingCentral Glip bot framework and planning to use ringCentral Java Sdk. I got one documentation of building bot using PHP sdk. Can you please guide/point an article describing steps to use Java sdk for building RIngCentral bot.

Thanks,
Amit

Hello Admit,.

We don't have a Java tutorial at the moment. I recommend this tutorial  http://ringcentral-api-docs.readthedocs.io/en/latest/glip_bots/

Best Regards,

Tyler

Nope, there isn't.

There is a project named ringcentral-android but it is a private one. So I think it is not ready yet.

So do you have any idea how do I integrate in RingCentral in Android?
Thanks

One option is you can embed a web browser in your Andriod app and use RC JS SDK.

Or you can call RC API without an SDK. It's not that hard. Here is a Python version with only 130 lines of code:  https://github.com/tylerlong/ringcentral-python/blob/master/ringcentral_client/rest_client.py   You can take it as a sample and code your own Android SDK.

I will also ask for official resources to finish the Android SDK.
