Below is the information on getting you started on the Sandbox Environment.

1) Sandbox Environment User Credentials

  1. Login to https://developer.ringcentral.com/ using your Developer Platform credentials (RC account credentials)
  2. Go to your Sandbox Account page: "My Account > Sandbox Account". Locate the "Main Company Number" which will be your username when formatted in E.164 format, (example: +12223334444).
  3. The password is the password you received via email when you created the sandbox account, unless you have changed the password.

The above credentials can also be used for logging into, and reset at, the Online Account Portal for Sandbox Environment at: https://service.devtest.ringcentral.com/

2.) Create an Application on Sandbox Environment

  1. Login to https://developer.ringcentral.com/ using your Developer Platform credentials (RC account credentials)
  2. Under Applications -> Create a new Application as per your requirements.
  3. To retrieve app key and secret key : Find your application key and secret by clicking on My Account -> Applications -> Application Name. Use Sandbox Application key and secrets

Hi Jude,

The error that you are seeing could have been due to multiple attempts on sandbox account creation. If you are still getting the same error message while you create a sandbox account, please log a case with 'devsupport@ringcentral.com' with your RC account details :

Could you please try again to create a sandbox account and verify it if you are able to successfully create one.

Thanks.

Anil, I tried again with the same error result. "Oops! It seems like something went wrong with your last sandbox account creation. Please try again!"

I have submitted support cases 04156804 (and before that, 04151632) with no results. We have tried to gain access to your faxing API for weeks now, and frustratingly, we still do not have it. If RingCentral does not grant us access shortly then we will choose another solution.
